Extended range shooting class

Post  Preda8or on Thu Feb 25, 2010 8:27 pm

It was one of the biggest bucks I have ever seen but by the time I got close enough to get a shot he was gone. Ever had this happen, Well I believe it has happen to most of us in one way or another. I have met some people that have never missed ( Or won't admit it ) I'm not one of them and shooting is something that you will keep learning from with each shoot if properly executed. The system I have developed is a offshoot of the military sniper system. I developed it to make it more affordable and easier to understand and apply in the field.

We are putting this out as a feeler to see if there is any interest in a basic extended range shooting class to be given at kettlefoot if there is enough interest it will happen if not it will not

This is not a class for expert marksman or those that already know all they need to know. This is for those that would like to learn how to get the most out of there rifle and scope system be it factory or custom.

Also if this one happens, More will be offered including advanced classes

No advanced classes will be given to anyone without taking the basic class

Each class will be no more than 7 people and no less than 5

This class will cost $20.00 per member $25.00 per non member and will need to be paid in advance

There will be no sitting in, If you want to listen in you must pay.

This years harvest.

Who says long range is just for out west.

That has yet to be determined. Just a guess would be between a hour or hour and a half. Thanks

Who is going to teach class?

Post  MarkEagle on Sat Mar 06, 2010 8:34 pm

Kevin,
Who is the long range guru you plan to bring in to the club for such classes? Be sure you get him/her approved by the powers. Maybe David Tubb? What are their credentials as a long range rifle guru?

Mark, You know I'll be teaching the class. The powers have already approved it. Never claim to be a guru. This class began at the request of a couple of members that ask me to teach them a few things about shooting longer ranges. When it comes to credentials, Most people either know me or know someone that does know me and can attest that I'm more than capable of teaching this class.

Hey guys, I appreciate the comments but I don't think david tubb would be afraid of anyone. He wouldn't teach a intro class for $20 bucks either. Thanks again for the vote of confidence. Where have you been denny?

I know this is a little late, but I would be interested and I am sure my wife would be as well. My brother, that is a memeber, would most likely sign up.
