    Perhaps,
I am at the clubhouse most Sunday afternoons and every Tues. and soon every Thurs. Evenings. Most Sat. I am running some sort of match. Meet with me and we will discuss what you want, safety issues and cost. I will be happy then to present it to the board.

We used to have a big round piece of metal- maybe an old manhole cover- at 200 yards and I shot many rounds at that target. Does anybody know anybody with a spare manhole cover? Now, we don't want one you "found" in a manhole- thats where they are supposed to be. We also had a hanging metal plate that we shot until the range was remodeled- it was left over railroad tie plates on a chain with a metal frame at 200 yards. I feel they need to be out at 200 yards. There are people who are club members that could probably put something together economically.

There is a metal fabricating company located behind Bristol Supply. Can't remember the name but it is easy to spot as you drive south beside the tracks. This is just beyond the Bristol Sign on the right going east. They seem to have a supply of odd pieces of metal on hand and let it go very reasonably. I was able to obtain a piece of expanded metal plate to use as a campfire grill at my hunt camp.

I think a gong at 200 and one (larger, thank you) at 300 would be a lot of fun.

We have a fellow member that routinely shoots his civil war replica Enfield rifle at 300 yds. I would love to hear that minie hit a gong after hearing the rifle report.
